A resource pack in Minecraft Bedrock Edition is a collection of files that change the visual appearance of the game — textures, sounds, animations, and more. Servers host their own resource packs to create a unique branded experience for players.

Each server identifies its resource pack using a unique UUID in the manifest.json file. If you want to use a custom or modified texture pack on a server that requires its own pack, the UUID must match. PackForge replaces the manifest automatically — no manual editing needed.

The Mix feature lets you combine two resource packs into one. This is useful when you have a gameplay pack (like one that changes UI or sounds) and a texture pack you want to use together.

This pack's manifest.json will be kept as the base. Its icon and core structure are preserved.

Files from this pack are merged into the main pack. If the same file exists in both, the main pack version takes priority.

The upload phase depends on your connection speed. Server-side processing (replacing the manifest and repacking) takes milliseconds regardless of your connection. For packs under 10MB, the total process usually completes in a few seconds.
